Philipp Grushko
FounderBefore co-founding SD Capital, Philipp led Business Development at TIS — Ukraine’s largest port operator. He was responsible for multiple M&A transactions and investments in new projects across the group, including the USD 150+ million deal with Cargill for the construction of a grain terminal at the Port of Pivdennyi.
Prior to joining TIS, Philipp spent over 10 years in senior roles at top-tier international consulting firms including PwC, KPMG, and Linklaters in Germany. Over the course of his consulting career, he oversaw more than 40 M&A transactions with leading industrial corporations and Tier 1 private equity firms.
Philipp is also Co-Founder and Director of Development at Superhumans Center, Ukraine’s flagship national center for the treatment of war injuries — focused on prosthetics, reconstructive surgery, rehabilitation, and psychological support for war-affected adults and children.
He has deep expertise across the full M&A lifecycle, including origination, business valuation, deal structuring, debt financing, and legal execution.
Philipp holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Finance from the University of Regensburg (Germany) and a Master’s in International Business from Copenhagen Business School (Denmark).
