Oleksandr Bartkovyak

Oleksandr joined SD Capital in 2017. He leads the investment team and is actively involved in sourcing, analyzing, and executing deals across various sectors, with a focus on infrastructure, particularly logistics, renewable energy, and the venture segment. His involvement has been critical in executing a number of strategic transactions, including sales to strategic investors.

He also plays an important role in the development of the Superhumans Center, serving as Deputy Director of Development. In this role, Oleksandr secured 25 million dollars in political risk insurance from the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation, structured grant financing from the governments of the Netherlands and France to support Superhumans centers in Dnipro and Odesa, co-led strategic planning for scaling the project, and oversaw the development of the Center’s franchising model.

Oleksandr holds a master’s degree in Economic Cybernetics from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. His academic research on statistical arbitrage was published by Springer.
