Andriy is the Co-Founder of SD Capital, established in 2016. Since 2007, he has served as CEO of TIS — Ukraine’s largest port — and transformed it into the country’s leading terminal operator. He began his career at TIS in 2001 as Assistant to the Chief Dispatcher. After six years in various roles across different divisions, he became CEO, a position he still holds today. Andriy is also a co-founder of TIS, together with his brother and two other partners.
TIS comprises six deep-water marine terminals. In 2015, the port handled 26.6 million tons of cargo, reaching a peak of 36.6 million tons in 2020. The total quay length is 1,970 meters. TIS has invested over USD 500 million into port infrastructure.
In 2015 — amid war, crisis, and lack of financing — Andriy and his team signed a deal with Cargill to build a 4 million ton grain terminal in partnership with the EBRD and IFC. The total value of the project exceeded USD 150 million.
Andriy is also a Co-Founder of Superhumans Center, a national facility providing advanced care for war trauma — specializing in prosthetics, reconstructive surgery, rehabilitation, and psychological support for both adults and children affected by the war.
Since 2014, Andriy has served as Honorary Consul of Austria in the Odesa region.
He studied commerce at Harrow House School in the United Kingdom and holds a diploma in International Business from the University of Montana, Zug, Switzerland, as well as an Executive MBA from HCMS (France). He also earned a Management degree from Mechnikov Odesa National University in Ukraine.
