Phillip Grushko, partner and co-founder of SD Capital, has joined the Supervisory Board of UVCA – the Ukrainian Venture Capital and Private Equity Association
Together with other distinguished members of the Board, Phillip will be involved in creating the strategy of the Association, determining the directions of UVCA, as well as working with new members of the Association.
Ukrainian Venture Capital and Private Equity Association unites 50 enterprises and associations that are interested in active attraction of investments to Ukraine. UVCA aims to spread the word about investment opportunities in Ukraine and to provide multi-vector support to investors in every aspect.
For many years Phillip Grushko worked in Big4 companies in Germany. Later he took charge of the Business development sector of the TIS Group and managed JV implementation with the Cargill company in building a modern grain terminal with a capacity of 5 million tons per year.
Currently, Phillip is a Supervisory board member at TIS and Neptune. He has coordinated three large-scale M&A with strategic partners: P&O Maritime, Cargill, DP World. He has also attracted funding from the EBRD and the International Finance Corporation for a total sum of 74 million USD. Phillip’s expertise in the implementation of large industrial greenfield projects as well as his knowledge of markets in Europe, UAE, and Ukraine will prove useful in fulfilling the UVCA’s mission.
